Updating Balance

Your gym currently shows credits being owed to members!


This all stems from the way Membership Dues payments are being received.


* By paying close attention to the new account balance, you will see that a credit will be left if the Update the account balance box is checked and the New Account Balance shows a negative amount in red.

* Paying close attention to the new account balance, you will leave this unchecked if no amount is currently showing on the Account Statement as due so that the New Account Balance will remain balanced at zero.

- Enter  'Money You Owe' in the central Search pane to see a list of all accounts that payments have been incorrectly received on.

- Select ' Show me reports related to money you owe, then click on 'Report: Money You Owe'.

Shift-click on the account number to  Open the Link in New Tab and fix the amount the account owes.


Click the  Update Balance button to adjust the amount the account owes.

Select  Set the exact amount this account owes to '0' (paying close attention to the new account balance and ensuring that it is $0.00 before noting the Description as "fixing account" and pressing Save.)

You will now see the account has been perfectly balanced at $0.00
