New Members App Available

🎉 🥳 We're excited to announce that we have released a new Gym Insight Members App to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store!

Your members will now be able to download the Members App directly from the app store of their device. Because this app is installed and used differently than our previous browser-based app, please read the following information to understand the differences and how you should communicate these changes to your members.

Also, we have a help article with common issues your members may run into. Check that out here.

The Members App is now installed via the app stores

Your members will now install the members app from the App Store/Play Store. They no longer need to perform the Install to Home Screen steps with the previous app.

The member can either click the links to download the app from the email invite they receive when they create their membership with you, or they can search and download directly in the app stores, by searching for Gym Insight Members App.

Self Registration

To make signup easier, we've overhauled the registration process for members using the Members App. Instead of using an access code, we've given the members the ability to register themselves, eliminating the need for the gym staff to be involved.

When you sell a membership to a new member, be sure to specify their email address on their account. Then, when they download the Members App and register for a login, the Members App will automatically locate their Gym Insight account using the email address, and the member will instantly have access to the Members App. The gym staff should only need to assist in those cases in which the email address does not match what the member is logging in with, or if the email address was never added to their account originally.

Social Media Logins

The new Members App no longer supports logging in with Facebook/Google. Many previous Members App users were using these methods to sign into the old app. For these members, they will be prompted to create a password the next time that they log into the old app, and when using the new app, they will then use that email and password to login.

If the members begin using the new app before they're established their password, they should use the Forgot Password? option of the Login screen, in order to set a new password and complete the login process.
