Introduction to Messaging using the Member's App
A New Way to Connect - Introduction to Messaging Capabilities using Gym Insight's Members App.
Contacting your members efficiently can often prove to be challenging and time-consuming. Traditional methods such as emails and phone calls are no longer as impactful as they once were.
Gym Insight introduces its Messaging feature as a powerful solution for streamlining communication. This feature facilitates automated messaging for overdue accounts, marketing initiatives, class schedule notifications, and the confirmation of personal training appointments. These messages are retained in the system for 90 days.
It's important to note that Gym Insight's Messaging feature is not an external third-party application. Instead, it is seamlessly integrated directly within Gym Insight, ensuring a seamless and effective interaction with your member base every time you leverage it.
You can easily set up automatic messages to be sent to your delinquent accounts. Now your staff can focus on new membership sales instead of calling past due clients!
Click on your Home menu, select Settings, and then select Message Options.
Gym Insight's Messaging feature also has the option to send a group message.
By filtering a report's results, these messages can be sent to all members or to a selected group of members.
By clicking the Bulk Actions icon (at the bottom of the generated report), you can notify members of a special offer, or days closed, and even send reminders about a class schedule.
Select "Send Group Message".
After choosing this option, you will be able to enter the message you would like to send. You can also make the message a high-priority message, make your location the sender (instead of your own name), and even add template variables to the message.
After creating your message, click "Prepare Bulk Action".
At this point, you'll see a progress box show in the bottom-right-hand corner of your screen. The system is preparing all of your accounts/members messages to be sent. If necessary, you can cancel this before the send is complete.
You can click "Run Now" to send all of the messages, or click "Cancel" to cancel the send.
You are also able to send messages to individual members right from their accounts! Click the Actions drop down button and select the second choice to send messages directly from member's profile.
