Key Access When Freezing/Unfreezing

Have you ever wondered what happens to your Access Keys during an account freeze? We have good news! If an Access Key was enabled when the account was frozen, it will automatically re-enable when the freeze ends. However, if it was disabled when the account was frozen, it will remain disabled after the freeze ends.

To keep track of changes made to your Access Keys, we recommend using our Member History feature. This tool is perfect for tracking any manual changes made to your Access Keys, including when they are disabled or re-enabled.

It's important to note that only manually enabled/disabled Access Keys will be reflected in the Member History. Any automatic changes made during a freeze will not be recorded in the Member History.
