How to Install or Upgrade Insight Access

Insight Access 3.0.8 is a new version with upgraded features for the Digital Keytag system and updated monitoring for check-ins. Follow these steps to install or upgrade Insight Access:

Before you begin:

If you have any previous versions of Insight Access installed, uninstall them first.

Downloading Steps:

Select your location, then click on Applications.

Find Insight Access under available applications and click Download.

Download setup.exe to your Desktop.

If your browser or antivirus security software blocks the file, follow these additional steps to manually override the prompt, complete the download, and open the setup.exe file:

Chrome:
- Click on the arrow next to the file name in the download bar and select Keep.
  - Click the three vertical dots in the top right of the browser window
    
    Click 'Keep', then the three vertical dots
  - Click Downloads
  - Click 'Keep dangerous file'
  - Click Keep anyway
    
    Click 'Keep dangerous file', then 'Keep anyway'
  - Open the file

Edge:
- Hover the mouse cursor over the file, then click the three dots that appear to the right. This will open a dropdown menu. Select Keep from the dropdown list.
- A larger warning will appear in the top right of the window. Click Show More at the bottom of the warning.
  
  Click 'Show More'
- Select Keep Anyway to complete the download.

Installing Insight Access:

Open setup.exe.
Windows 10 Users: If this is your first time running the software on your computer, ensure that the "☐ Always ask before opening this file" option is unchecked.

Special note: When running the installation program for the first time only, "Always ask before opening this file" must remain unchecked. By default it IS checked, and the user needs to un-check it.

Windows will try to verify the software. In the window that pops up, click More info.

Click Run anyway to proceed with the installation.

Click Install. Insight Access will install and automatically save a shortcut to your desktop.

If you forgot to uncheck the "Always ask before opening this file" option previous Windows will try to block you. If this happens simply click More info then click Run anyway as shown above.

Verifying the Installation:

Open Insight Access.
Go to Help > About Insight Access (or click the About icon).
The About window will display the version of Insight Access you have installed. Ensure it is the updated version.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed or upgraded Insight Access.
