Step 2: Create a Membership
You need to create the memberships that you will be offering to members on Sales Guru.
Let's take a look at how to create memberships.
After you create your memberships, you can move on to Step 3: Choose and Edit Your Theme.
To see all the steps to using Sales Guru, click here.
From your dashboard, click on your home menu.
Select “Applications”
This will take you to the Applications screen.
Click on “Memberships” under Application Settings.
Now you are on the “Memberships Offered By Your Location” screen.
Memberships created here are the memberships that will be offered on your website or Sales Guru.
Click the green “new membership” button.
You are now on the “New Membership Option” form.
This is where you will fill in all the information about the membership you are offering.
Number of members: Defaults to 1. This is how many members you will allow to sign up for this membership. Additional members can be added at point of sale.
Display option: Determines where this membership will be displayed. Do you want it only shown on your website? Maybe you want this membership to show only on your Sales Guru. You can simply select “Enable” to have it show on both! If you are not offering this membership at this time, you can click “Disable” so that it will not show up at all.
Title: Give your membership a name.
Description: Tell your members about the membership you are offering and why they should choose it.
Type: Choose what type of membership you will be offering.
Prepaid: members prepaid for this membership.
Enter the membership length and choose the payment frequency.
Term: the membership is only available for a certain amount of time. 1 year, for example.
Enter the membership length and choose the payment frequency.
Open End: month to month
No need for membership length or payment frequency.
Guest: this is a guest membership, maybe a trial visit.
No need for membership length or payment frequency.
Now, you have some options to choose.
“Don’t collect a payment” can only be used with Sales Guru.
“Charge first and last period dues” applies if your gym collects a first and last month’s payment in order to sign up.
Enter your fees.
If you would like to give members the option to add additional people to their membership, click on the blue “Add-on member pricing” button.
If there is no charge for additional members, check the box next to “Add-on members are free”.
If you are charging for additional members, simply enter in the necessary fees.
When everything looks good, click the blue “save” button.
Now, your membership is listed on the “Memberships Offered By Your Location” page.
You can paste the link anywhere on your website and members will be able to sign up for that membership!
