Creating Add On Services
Add-on Services allow you to sell and keep track of a service that you offer. A good example would be personal training; you could use the Add-on to sell 10 sessions (or any arbitrary number of sessions) of the personal training to your customer. Additionally, we also have the ability to create Add-ons that have an unlimited number of sessions. An Add-on with an unlimited number of sessions would be useful for tracking a service that the customer is paying monthly for, such as child care or locker rentals.
To create an Add-on, first find the member's account.
Click the green "ADD" button to open a dropdown menu. You will see "Scheduled Payment" "PT Sessions" and "Add-on Service" options.
- If there will be weekly, monthly, or yearly payments for automatically-renewing personal training or add-on services, choose "Scheduled Payment" and head over to this help article on recurring personal training and services.
- If this is a one-time sale of personal training sessions, choose PT Sessions.
- If this is a one-time sale of a service, choose Add-on Service.
Personal Training
Use this option when you are creating personal training sessions or sessions for any service such as massages or physical therapy. Basically any service you offer that would have sessions being used by a member.
Select the Personal Trainer that will be assigned to this service. NOTE: If you are offering commissions for this service, the personal trainer selected is who will be earning the commission.
Enter the total amount for the personal training, number of sessions ("0" for unlimited), days valid ("0" for unlimited), and commission if included.
You will also need to select if check-ins will use up the sessions, disable keys when all sessions have been used, or to share this service with all members on the account.
After that, you need to select how the service is being paid for.
New Add-On
If offering something other than personal training, you will see the screen below.
This could be used as more of a punch card type of item, like Child Care visits, or retail items sold in bulk like bottles of water or protein bars.
You will need to enter an Add-on Type and give the add-on a title.
Enter the total amount for the add-on service, number of sessions ("0" for unlimited), and days valid ("0" for unlimited).
You will also need to select if check-ins will use up the sessions, disable keys when all sessions have been used, or to share this add-on with all members on the account.
After that, you need to select how the add-on is being paid for.
You will now be able to see the service added to the account's "Add-ons" section.
Next to the add-on are 3 icons:
Red trash can - delete
Pencil - edit
$ with arrows circling - create a scheduled payment
Person with a check mark - use a session
